Step 1:

  • Hikvision warranty claim process is pretty simple and direct. Hikvision necessitates obtaining RMA (Return Material Authorization) as the first step in claiming your warranty.

  • Get the authorization form by downloading it on their page or requesting it via email at [email protected].

  • Fill in the necessary details, such as name, mobile number, model number, address, and description of the problems, with due attention.

  • Note that a copy of the RMA has to be attached with every return, as Hikvision doesn’t accept returns without an RMA. Make sure that your RMA is written clearly in black/blue and bold.

  • Once done with filling out the form, mail it to the above-said email along with the required documents, such as proof of purchase and replacement proof, in order to get the RMA number.

Step 2:

  • Be informed that the RMA number will be valid for 90 days. After that time frame, the RMA number will be closed and you are requested to get a new one.

  • Hikvision accepts returns only from authorized distributors. The dealer has to return the product to the authorized distributors and the latter has to commence the exchange or return process.

  • Note that the process must be completed within 90 days after the issuance of the RMA number.

  • A 10% restocking fee is applied to any new, unused, or non-defective products returned within 90 days of the distributorship date. The fee is exempt if it is made within 30 days.

Step 3:

  • The packaging must be closer to the original packaging in which the firm shipped the products.

  • For multiple products, separate packages along with separate approved RMA numbers and proper seals are needed.

  • Hikvision possesses no responsibility for packages or items received damaged during transit.

  • The warranty claim is limited to products. In case of conflicts between Hikvision policy and your needs, you can simply reach out to the customer support or email them.

  • During the warranty process, Hikvision may offer you one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service. The warranty period is usually 2, 3, 5, or 10 years.

Hikvision Warranty Period:

  • 24-Month Warranty: For Value Express products and MicroSD Cards

  • 36-Month Warranty: Applies to DVRs/Encoders, 7 Series Value NVRs, CVRs, and Value IP Cameras

  • 60-Month Warranty: Covers Professional PTZ Cameras and Thermal Cameras

  • 10-Year Warranty: Provided for cables
