3 Simple Steps for Giant Bicycles Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • Paying a visit to the shop of the Giant local retailer where the purchase was made with the proof of purchase is the course of action to make the warranty claim. Giant gives the authorization of warranty works to be done to them.

  • The replacement parts and necessary labor will be provided at no cost for the approved warranty case. Your statutory rights will remain intact by this warranty.

  • The warranty claim process is uncomplicated after registration, which involves five steps. It begins with entering the frame number, and subsequent steps open once you finish the prior one.

Step 2:

  • The returning time period for bicycles and gears which have been purchased from the official website is 14 days and 60 days respectively. You are supposed to return the products in new, unused condition with all original, undamaged packaging with proof of purchase.

  • A refund or credit will be processed back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. In cases where a digital gift card was utilized, the refund will initially be issued to this payment method.

Step 3:

  • Initial shipping and handling charges, destination fees, plus any applicable tax are not included in the full refund of the purchase price by Giant bicycles.

  • An extensive range of topics is covered on the contact page. The topics include online orders, locating retailers, product inquiries, financing, doorstep delivery, and the helmet crash replacement program, among others.

  • During the warranty process, Giant Bicycles may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Giant Bicycles Warranty?

Giant provides a warranty, under specific conditions, to the original owner, ensuring that the frame, rigid fork, original component parts, rider gear, or service gear of each new Giant product (including Giant, Liv, and Momentum, as well as E-bikes and Giant brand framesets) are free from defects in material and workmanship for the designated periods. This warranty is applicable solely to bicycles, framesets, and gear that were initially purchased new from, and assembled by, an Authorized Giant Dealer, or bought online from the official website.

  • 1-year limited warranty on Paint and decals

  • 2-year limited warranty on Giant own brand components, and Electronic E-bike components

  • 3-year limited warranty on downhill frame

  • 10-year limited warranty on rigid forks

What is NOT covered under the Giant Bicycles Warranty?

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on parts such as tires, chains, brakes, cables, and gearwheels if there are no assembly or material defects present. It also excludes damages resulting from improper maintenance, assembly, or installation, as well as corrosion and modifications from the original condition. Additionally, the warranty does not apply if the bicycle is used for abnormal, competition, or commercial activities, or for purposes other than those for which it was designed. Damages caused by failure to follow the owner’s manual, accidents, neglect, abuse, or abnormal and excessive misuse are not covered. Moreover, improper alteration or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold voids the warranty. Any damage to the paint finish and decals resulting from participation in competitions, jumping, downhill riding, or training for such activities, or exposure to severe conditions or climates, is also excluded from warranty coverage.
