Step 1:

  • Warranty claims can be made if you provide the personal, contact, and residential details along with the model number of the product in the form. The model number can be found on the bottom or backside of the product. You can also register your product for safety purposes.

  • Dealers, service centers, or retail stores that sell FoodSaver products do not possess the authority to alter, modify, or in any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty. 

Step 2:

  • Items purchased through the official website are eligible for return by mail. If you choose to return your unused merchandise, you have a 30-day window from the date of receipt to receive a refund for the purchase price.

  • Shipping costs are not eligible for refunds, and the consumer is accountable for the return shipping charges. A Return Authorization is necessary for all return transactions.

Step 3:

  • Reimbursements for returned items will be processed using the original payment method employed during the purchase and are anticipated to reflect as a credit in your account within 1 – 2 billing cycles.

  • FoodSaver, at its discretion, will at no cost repair or replace any defective component of your product identified during the relevant warranty period. The replacement will involve a new product or component.

  • During the warranty process, FoodSaver Vacuum may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the 1, 3, or 5-year limited warranty period.

  • 3-year limited warranty on PowerVac

  • 5-year limited warranty on All other Appliance Series other than PowerVac

What is covered under the FoodSaver Vacuum Warranty?

Sunbeam Products, Inc., for its FoodSaver brand of products, promises to the original end-user purchaser in the United States or Canada that FoodSaver products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the specified warranty periods. This warranty is applicable to the original retail purchaser from the date of delivery and is non-transferable.

What is NOT covered under the FoodSaver Vacuum Warranty?

The limited warranty does not encompass the normal wear of parts or damage resulting from the following: the use of products for commercial purposes, negligent use or misuse of the product, usage on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions provided by FoodSaver, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than FoodSaver or an authorized FoodSaver service center. FoodSaver explicitly excludes, under this warranty, defects or damage caused by repair or alteration by individuals not authorized by FoodSaver. Additionally, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes. None of the terms of this warranty should be construed to apply to non-warranty service and maintenance. Therefore, FoodSaver also disclaims liability for defects and damage resulting from repair or alteration outside the terms of this warranty.
