What is covered under the Fisher & Paykel Warranty?

The warranty period spans two years from the date of purchase. During this time, they offer complimentary repairs for any defective parts of the product identified by their serial numbers, covering both material and labor costs. However, if you reside in Alaska, you are responsible for shipping the product to the service center or covering the travel expenses for the technician to your location. For products installed in vehicles, boats, or similar mobile units, the same two-year limited warranty applies. However, you must arrange and bear the costs for transporting the vehicle, boat, or mobile unit containing the product to the service center or covering the travel expenses of the technician to your location.

What is NOT covered under the Fisher & Paykel Warranty?

The warranty excludes coverage for service calls unrelated to product defects, addressing issues like faulty installation, user instruction, or routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or resetting circuit breakers. It also does not cover user-induced faults, unauthorized modifications, or normal operational noise or vibrations. Additionally, defects stemming from factors outside of normal domestic use or adherence to the product's user guide, accidents, neglect, misuse, or natural disasters are not covered. Repair costs incurred by unauthorized repairers or travel fees to locations with limited access are not included. Furthermore, normal maintenance outlined in the product's user guide is not covered by the warranty.
