What is covered under the Fisher & Paykel Warranty?

The warranty program is valid for a period of two years starting from the date of purchase. Within this timeframe, they will provide free repairs for any part of the product, bearing the serial number that is found to be defective, covering both the cost of materials and labor. However, if you are located in Alaska, you will be responsible for shipping the product to the service shop or covering the travel expenses of the service technician to your home. If the product is installed in a motor vehicle, boat, or a similar mobile facility, the same two-year limited warranty applies, but you are required to transport the vehicle, boat, or mobile facility containing the product to the service shop at your own expense, or pay for the service technician's travel to the location of the product.

What is NOT covered under the Fisher & Paykel Warranty?

The warranty specifically excludes service calls that do not pertain to any product defect. If it is determined that the issue is not a defect of the product, you may be billed for the cost of the service call. Additionally, the warranty does not cover defects resulting from factors other than regular domestic use or usage not in accordance with the product's User Guide. Damages to the product caused by accidents, negligence, misuse, fire, floods, or Acts of God are also not covered. Any expenses related to repairs conducted by non-authorized repair personnel or the costs associated with rectifying unauthorized repairs are excluded. Furthermore, travel fees and related charges incurred when installing the product in a location with limited or restricted access are not covered, and normal recommended maintenance, as outlined in the product's User Guide, falls outside the scope of the warranty.
