Step 1:

  • Confirm that your Fantech product was purchased new from an authorized distributor or approved account holder. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party sources may not be eligible for warranty coverage.

  • Ensure that the product has not been altered or improperly installed. The warranty does not cover products that have been modified, incorrectly installed, or purchased from unauthorized sources.

  • Verify that the product is still within the applicable Warranty Period from the original date of purchase. The purchase date shown on your receipt will be used to determine warranty eligibility.

Step 2:

  • Visit the official Fantech website and navigate to the Product Registration to register your product. Registration helps keep your product details on file and may speed up warranty support.

  • Keep a copy of your bill of sale or proof of purchase available. This document is required to verify the purchase date and confirm warranty eligibility.

  • Ensure that the RMA number is clearly written on the outside of the carton when returning the product. All returns must be shipped prepaid according to the instructions provided by the support team.

Step 3:

  • Return the defective product through your distributor by following Fantech’s RMA procedure. The distributor will guide you through the required steps and documentation for processing the return.

  • All returned items are inspected to verify the reported defect. Repair or replacement will be approved only after the inspection confirms that the issue is covered under warranty.

  • If the defect is verified, Fantech will repair or replace the product at its discretion. The resolution provided will depend on the product condition and warranty eligibility.

  • If a replacement unit is issued before inspection, it may be invoiced initially. Credit will be issued only after the returned product is inspected and the defect is confirmed.

What is covered under the Fantech Warranty?

Fantech warrants its equipment to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship during normal use within the applicable Warranty Period.

  • If a defect is confirmed after inspection, Fantech will repair or replace the product at its discretion.
  • Warranty coverage applies only when products are properly installed, operated, and maintained according to Fantech guidelines.
  • The product label and control number must remain intact, and coverage is valid only in the country of original purchase.
  • All approved warranty claims must follow the official RMA process and include proof of purchase.
  • Once verified, repaired or replacement products will be shipped back to the customer.

What is NOT covered under the Fantech Warranty?

Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect wiring, misuse, abuse, neglect, or operation under abnormal conditions is not covered.

  • Use of incorrect voltage, poor maintenance, or failure to follow instructions voids the warranty.
  • Products that have been altered, modified, repaired, or serviced without authorization from Fantech are excluded.
