Confirm that your product was purchased from an authorized Etymotic distributor or reseller. For Amazon purchases, the manufacturer’s warranty applies only to products that are “Shipped and sold by Amazon.com.” Items sold by third-party Amazon sellers are not covered.
Verify that your product is within the applicable warranty period. Select earphones, wired headsets, and replacement cables carry a 2-year warranty, while electronic earplugs, Bluetooth headsets, personal sound amplifiers, and certain earphones carry a 1-year warranty from the original purchase date.
Ensure the product has not been customer-damaged, modified, or lost, as these conditions are excluded from Etymotic’s warranty policy and may result in the claim being denied.
Visit the Etymotic website to access warranty information, product manuals, and contact details for the Customer Service team. Etymotic does not require formal product registration to activate your warranty.
Retain your original proof of purchase from an authorized Etymotic reseller, as it is required for all in-warranty replacement requests and must be provided when contacting Customer Service.
Keep your product in its original packaging if possible, as proper packaging is required when returning a product. Etymotic is not responsible for packages that fail to reach the service facility.
Contact Etymotic Customer Service to request a Return Authorization (RA) Form. Do not ship your product without first obtaining the RA Form, as it must be included inside the return package along with your securely packed product.
Ship the product to Lucid Audio at the address provided, using a carrier that offers package tracking. Tracking is required, and insurance is recommended since Etymotic is not responsible for packages lost in transit.
Once the returned product is received at the warehouse, a replacement order will be created and shipped back to you at no charge. Due to the design of most Etymotic consumer products, repairs are not available, and replacement is the standard resolution for in-warranty claims.
