The warranty is applicable solely to new appliances acquired and utilized in Australia, and it complements other rights and remedies provided by the relevant laws pertaining to the appliances, including any non-excludable statutory guarantees in Australia. Throughout the warranty duration, Residentia Group will, at its discretion, either repair or replace, at no charge to the owner, any defective part of the product bearing the serial number, identified as faulty within two years from the date of purchase. It is imperative that service under this manufacturer's warranty is conducted by a Residentia Group trained and approved Service Agent.
The warranty does not cover defects that result from factors outside of normal domestic use in a residential setting or the proper use of the appliance as specified in the Product User Manual. There will be a charge for service calls that are not related to any product defect, and this charge will be applied if the issue is determined not to be a fault of the product. Cosmetic damage that does not impact the operation of the product, products with removed or defaced serial numbers, and defects caused by accidents, neglect, misuse, or Acts of God (e.g., storm damage, power surges, electrical storm damage, etc.) are also not covered. The warranty does not extend to the cost of repairs conducted by non-authorized repairers or correcting unauthorized repairs, normal recommended maintenance and cleaning as specified in the Product's User Manual, repairs performed by anyone other than a Residentia Group authorized service agent, pick-up and delivery, and transportation or travel costs associated with repairs when the product is installed outside the Authorized Service Representative's (ASR) normal service area. Additional installation costs are also not covered.
