What is covered under the Dornbracht Warranty?

Dornbracht AG & Co. KG offers a manufacturer's warranty to consumers for products under the "Dornbracht" brand, whether manufactured directly by Dornbracht or by a subcontractor. The warranty period commences from the date of purchase by the initial customer wishing to make a claim under the warranty. Proof of purchase, in the form of an original invoice, is required to validate the warranty, with the purchase date clearly indicated. Dornbracht assures consumers that "Dornbracht" brand products are devoid of material, manufacturing, or design flaws.

What is NOT covered under the Dornbracht Warranty?

The warranty does not extend coverage to certain types of components prone to wear, such as seals, O-rings, and soap dispenser pumps, which are subject to deterioration over time. Fragile elements like glass and light bulbs are also excluded due to the risk of breakage. Consumable items such as batteries, filters, and aerators are not covered due to their expected consumption. Minor deviations in Dornbracht products that do not impact their functionality are likewise not covered. Damage resulting from factors such as dirt infiltration, and water hammer, especially when involving hot water, limescale deposits, or exposure to aggressive environmental agents or chemicals is excluded. Defects attributed to the installation, transport, or initial operation of the purchased item, as well as improper installation of Dornbracht products, fall outside the warranty's scope. Furthermore, if maintenance, repair, or installation has not been conducted by a specialist tradesman, the warranty becomes void. Any damage caused by the seller, installer, or third parties is not covered, nor is damage resulting from normal wear and tear, deliberate actions, negligence, or improper installation or commissioning. Inadequate or faulty maintenance, use of products contrary to their intended purpose, or damage incurred due to force majeure or natural disasters such as floods, fires, or frost damage are also excluded from warranty coverage.
