Defender provides a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty on new products from the original date of purchase. Confirm that your product is still within this period before proceeding.
The warranty is valid from the original purchase date and is non-transferable. Make sure you are the original purchaser and that the product was bought from Defender directly or from an authorized retailer.
Have your proof of purchase ready, as you will be required to upload it to verify warranty eligibility when registering or submitting a claim.
If you purchased your product directly from Defender or from an authorized Defender retailer and require support within your warranty period, visit the Defender Support Centre or email to contact the Customer Experience team and initiate a repair or replacement.
If your product is still within the original retailer's return window, return it to the place of purchase. First, the customer should return the defective unit to the original place of purchase based on its return or refund policy before contacting Defender directly.

Defender will repair or replace, at its discretion, a product found to be defective during the warranty period. A deductible is charged for all camera, DVR, and NVR warranty replacement claims and must be paid before the replacement is shipped.
With the Advanced Replacement process, the replacement item will be shipped once return tracking confirms that your item is on its way to the warehouse.
Extended warranties of 2 or 3 years can be purchased up to one week before your current coverage ends. To be valid, extended warranties must be purchased within 60 days of the original purchase date.
New products: 1 year from date of original purchase
Extended Warranty options: 2 or 3 years (purchasable within 60 days of original purchase, or up to one week before current coverage ends)
Extended warranties apply to new and certified open box cameras and systems only

Defender will repair or replace your product free of charge (except for shipping cost) for 12 months from the date of purchase if the product is determined to be defective, provided it was purchased from Defender or an authorized retailer. Coverage applies to manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.
The Defender warranty does not cover damage caused by vandals.
