  • During the warranty process, Cree may provide you with one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period. The warranty duration may be 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 years.

  • Initiation of a claim for Cree products can be done on a form provided on their website.

  • Personal details to be provided include your name, contact email address and mobile number mandatorily. You will also have to provide product details like its name and quantity along with a detailed explanation of the issue you are facing and the reason for the return.

  • You should also document and photograph that strengthens your request. You also have the option to mention whether the product is damaged in transit. Please provide a replacement shipping address to receive the product.

What is covered under the Cree Warranty?

The limited warranty applies to any Cree product that has a technical defect or material failure within the defined warranty period. Only an authorized seller can transfer the warranty rights to the consumer and make the product eligible for the claim. All mechanical and LED components are always included in the claim. The determination of the defect in the product will always be done by the seller at the sole discretion of Cree’s guidelines. Their decision is the final in the claim after evaluating the overall performance of the product. Make sure you inform the defect within the first 60 days of its discovery, Crossing the timeline will not assure the claim for you.

What is NOT covered under the Cree Warranty?

Cree also has certain limitations on the warranty. Be noted that all the warranty claim rights are non-transferrable and can only be claimed by the original buyer from an authorized seller. It does not apply for all kinds of damages due to mishandling; misuse; negligence; improper installation; casualty event or acts of god; vandalism, storage or maintenance; power surges; electric current fluctuations; civil disturbances; corrosive environment; alteration; accident; resonance or oscillation associated with the movement of air currents around the product; failure to follow the directed maintenance.
