Step 1:

  • The warranty-related service will be provided as soon as you submit a request directly to Creative's technical support. You have one more option, which is returning the defective products to the retailer.

  • The order number and the email address have to be provided for the products sold by the Creative store. Offline purchases should include proof of purchase, as this is verified by the technical support advisors to determine eligibility for warranty coverage.

Step 2:

  • You should never miss attaching a RMA number on the outside of the package before returning the products. The return time period is thirty days starting from the date of the order. Refund costs for shipping and return mailing labels will not be provided for non-defective products.

  • Creative expects the returned products to be in mint, resalable condition and without any signs of wear, scratches, or damage. The original packaging must be used for the return, including all of the package contents.

Step 3:

  • The normal issuing time for refund is four weeks or shorter duration after the package is shipped. During this time frame, your return will undergo several processes before the refund is provided to you.

What is covered under the Creative Labs Warranty?

Creative assures you that the hardware will be devoid of material defects in both workmanship and materials under standard usage conditions from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user. Throughout the Warranty Period, should a defect occur and a valid claim is submitted within this period, Creative will rectify the hardware defect at no expense, utilizing either new or refurbished replacement components. This warranty exclusively encompasses the replacement of the hardware itself. Upon exchange of a product or component, the replacement item becomes your possession, while the replaced item becomes the property of Creative.

What is NOT covered under the Creative Labs Warranty?

The warranty does not extend to consumable parts, including batteries or protective coatings, which naturally diminish over time unless the failure is attributable to defects in materials or workmanship. Additionally, damage resulting from normal wear and tear, abnormal usage or conditions, misuse, neglect, abuse, accidents, improper handling or storage, defects or damages arising from service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration (including software changes), or modification by parties other than Creative or its authorized service centers, improper use of electrical sources, excessive physical or electrical stress, operator errors, failure to comply with instructions, or other actions not attributable to Creative are excluded from warranty coverage. This encompasses damage or loss during shipping or transit, as well as damage from external factors such as floods, storms, fires, sand, dirt, earthquakes, acts of nature, exposure to sunlight, weather, moisture, heat, vibration, corrosive environments, electrical surges, battery leaks, theft, or damage from connecting to products not recommended for interconnection. Any product that has undergone serial number alteration, defacement, removal, tampering, mismatched board serial numbers, or features non-conforming or non-creative housing or casing is also not covered by the warranty.
