  • You have two choices to claim the warranty: online or in-store at retail shops. Cotopaxi will send you a new product in case your product has been updated. The buyers are offered store credit for the current purchase price when the product is no longer manufactured or not in stock.

  • You ought to provide your name, home address, email, phone, and order number in the form to receive the warranty service. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided to the original form of payment. 

Step 2:

  • Within a 60-day period from the date of purchase, you can return or exchange new and pre-loved products bought from Cotopaxi Más Vida to claim the refund amount. The products are to be in unwashed and excellent condition with unbroken tags when they are returned.

  • The manufacturer provides you with a refund amount with a deduction of six dollars for the shipping fee. The processing time of refund or store credit ranges from 1-7 days after the products are delivered. It takes ten business days for the refunds to be reflected in the original payment method.

Step 3:

  • The customer support team members have been equipped with solutions to the problems related to promotions, sales, orders, shipping, tracking, warranty, repairs, international sales, and much more.

  • On the contact page, you can find a form with details that are almost similar to the warranty claiming form and a photo can be uploaded within the size limit of 3 MB.

  • During the warranty process, Cotopaxi may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the lifetime warranty period.

What is covered under the Cotopaxi Warranty?

Cotopaxi offers a lifetime warranty for products affected by manufacturing defects during the specified warranty period. Approved warranty claims entitle you to a replacement of the affected product with the same SKU.

What is NOT covered under the Cotopaxi Warranty?

The warranty excludes coverage for dirty or unwashed items, emphasizing the need to clean items before submission for acceptance. Additionally, cosmetic wear and tear, such as pilling, abrasion, pinholes, or other superficial damage that doesn't impede the product's function or performance, is not covered. The warranty does not extend to cover rips, punctures, burns incurred in the field, or damage resulting from normal wear and tear. Products damaged due to laundering contrary to provided care instructions are also not eligible for warranty claims. Damage caused by animals, such as a dog chewing on a hip pack, is not covered. Accidental damage, including incidents involving sharp blades during package opening, falls outside the warranty. Loss, theft, or damage during personal trips or travel is not covered under this warranty.
