Step 1:

  • Creating an account is essential to claim the warranty or request repairs for your product through the repair program. The customer care service center will provide further instructions on what needs to be done.

  • The eye care practitioner is the point of contact for returning prescribed sunglasses. Costa Optical eyeglass frames or lenses supplied by your Eye Care Practitioner cannot be repaired.

Step 2:

  • Undamaged products can be returned within thirty days from the date of receipt. Costa Del Mar will credit the refund amount to your bank account once they receive and inspect the products.  You can see a clear explanation of how to make the returns on the return page

  • The processing of the refund will be notified via email and the refund time limit does not go beyond the five business days. Exchanging products is currently not feasible; however, you have the option to reorder from the official website.

Step 3:

  • The manufacturer will not be responsible for incurring the processing fee which is a mixture of applicable taxes, return shipping, and handling charges. The limited warranty policy is not similar for all products.

What is covered under the Costa Del Mar Warranty?

Costa Del Mar provides a warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Costa will, at its discretion, repair or replace any product identified by Costa as having a manufacturer's defect, with either an identical item or a reasonably equivalent style. Please note that all of Costa's Limited Warranties are valid exclusively in the USA, Canada, and US Special Territories.

  • 2-year limited warranty on non-Rx sunglasses, RX sunglasses, and prescription eyeglasses

What is NOT covered under the Costa Del Mar Warranty?

The warranty provided by Costa Del Mar does not extend to include third-party lenses, normal wear, and tear, broken hinges, scratched lenses (after one year from the date of purchase), accidental damage, misuse, or any other issues that Costa determines are not defects in materials or workmanship.
