  • To initiate a warranty claim, please adhere to the following guidelines: contact Changhong Australia via the customer assistance line, ensuring that you have the model number and serial number ready. Additionally, Changhong Australia will require purchase documents to facilitate the processing of your claim.

  • In the event of a valid warranty claim, Changhong Australia will take the following steps: Repair or inspect the product; If the issue constitutes a major fault or if the product cannot be repaired, Changhong will either replace the product or provide an equivalent one.

Step 2:

  • If an equivalent product is not available, Changhong will liaise with the retailer to offer a store credit. If Changhong offers the consumer either a replacement, an equivalent product, or payment, the consumer agrees to transfer ownership of the original product to Changhong Australia immediately.

  • The warranty period begins on the date when the consumer takes possession of the original product and remains unaffected by any warranty repairs or exchanges.

  • If the original warranty period is less than 12 months, Changhong will ensure that a replacement product is covered by at least a 12-month warranty.

  • Verify that your address, phone number, and email address are correct before submission, as inaccurate details may prevent the customer service center from contacting you.

What is covered under the CHIQ Warranty?

CHiQ provides a warranty ensuring that all products manufactured by them are free from defects in materials or workmanship. During the warranty period, any defective products will either be repaired or replaced.

What is NOT covered under the CHIQ Warranty?

The warranty is not applicable if the product meets any of the following conditions: it no longer bears the original manufacturer's serial number, it is sold at auction or as second hand; it undergoes repair, service, or interference by unauthorized parties other than Changhong Australia or its authorized service center; it sustains damage due to improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or modifications; it experiences normal wear and tear; it is not properly cleaned or maintained; it is infested with insects or vermin; it is operated incorrectly; it is affected by power surges, electrical storm damage, or incorrect power supply; it is excessively used; it operates with incorrect voltage; it is affected by natural disasters or acts of God; or it is used or sold outside of Australia.
