The warranty extends to components of the watch that have malfunctioned due to original defects in materials or craftsmanship during regular use. Alternatively, Bulova may opt to replace the watch with a similar model.
The warranty excludes periodic service and maintenance for mechanical Bulova watches, damage caused by mishandling, abnormal usage, alterations, negligence, or inadequate care of the watch. Additionally, normal wear and tear, including deterioration and scratches to the watch's finish (such as the case, bracelet, crown, or crystal), are not covered. The warranty also does not extend to the battery, crystal, or strap. For models not labeled as "water-resistant," water damage is not covered, nor is moisture or water damage resulting from improper resealing after opening the case. Any service and Maintenance performed improperly or incorrectly, as well as repairs or servicing, will void the warranty.
