  • Confirm your product was purchased from BossAudio.com, an Authorized Platinum Online Dealer, or an Authorized Elite Dealer, as the extended warranty applies only to purchases from these channels.

    Locate your original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice with the date of purchase), as it is required to validate your warranty claim.


    Identify your product type and purchase channel to determine which warranty tier applies. Coverage ranges from the standard 1-year warranty up to 6 years for amplifiers purchased from authorized sources.


    Visit bossaudio to review the full warranty terms before submitting your claim.

Step 2:

  • Register your product at bossaudio to keep your proof of purchase on file and expedite future claims.


    If professionally installed, retain your installation receipt as it may qualify you for the free extended warranty.


    Keep your registration confirmation, proof of purchase, and installation receipt safely stored for the duration of your warranty.

Step 3:

  • Contact BOSS Audio using their support portal  or open a support ticket at bossaudio, with your part number, serial number, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue ready.


    Obtain a Return Authorization number before shipping your product  items sent without an RA will not be accepted.

    You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product failed within 30 days of purchase.

    Once received, BOSS Audio will repair or replace your product at their discretion using a new or reconditioned unit of the same or similar design.

Boss Audio Warranty Period:

  • one-year warranty on most products, which can be extended up to 3 years for speakers/head units and 6 years for amplifiers if purchased and installed by authorized dealers

  • Elite series products often have 2-5 year warranties, while refurbished units have a 1-year

What is covered under the Boss Audio Warranty?

Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including free parts and labor for the applicable warranty period.

  • Applies to the original purchaser only; replacements are covered under the original warranty and do not extend it.

What is NOT covered under the Boss Audio Warranty?

Damage caused by abuse, neglect, incorrect wiring, water, or physical damage is not covered.

  • Products repaired or modified by anyone other than a BOSS Audio technician are not eligible for warranty service..
  • The warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to products purchased from unauthorized dealers, outside the USA, or before 3/14/2015.
