BlueStar Appliances Warranty Period:

  • 60-day warranty on cosmetic components

  • 90-day warranty on floor models used for demonstration

  • 2-year warranty on parts and labor

  • 5-year warranty on compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier, and all connecting tubing

  • 13-year warranty on the compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier, and all connecting tubing is covered by limited parts-only warranty

What is covered under the BlueStar Appliances Warranty?

The warranty scheme is applicable to the owner of the residential property where the product is installed, as well as their spouse. This warranty is specifically valid for BlueStar appliances that have been purchased in the continental United States and Canada and installed in residential properties designated for standard domestic use. To be eligible for warranty coverage, the product must be professionally installed by a trained technician. Its coverage includes both parts and labor required for the repair or replacement of any component within the product that exhibits defects in materials and workmanship under the conditions of regular usage and maintenance. The warranty is intended for the usage of appliances in residential properties. The warranty commences from the date of installation of the appliances.

What is NOT covered under the BlueStar Appliances Warranty?

The warranty coverage does not extend to products installed or utilized in any commercial or non-residential properties, which include but are not limited to facilities like daycare centers, hotels, motels, inns, and nursing homes. This warranty also excludes products installed outside of the United States or Canada. Any damages resulting from self-installation or installations that deviate from the product specifications will render the warranty void. Furthermore, the warranty becomes null and void if the original factory-installed serial number is altered or removed from the product. The warranty will not cover damage caused by shipping, normal adjustments post-installation and setup, regular wear and tear, or standard product maintenance in accordance with the provided Use and Care Guide. Additionally, replacement water filters, damage or repairs resulting from alterations, misuse, neglect, improper installation, handling, operation, maintenance, or storage, accidental or intentional damage, unauthorized service or repairs, including adjustments or calibrations performed without authorization on the product, are not covered. Damages or repairs resulting from natural disasters such as fires, floods, earthquakes, severe winds, lightning, corrosive atmospheres, loss of electrical power for any reason, or other conditions beyond Prizer-Painter's control are not included in the warranty. Similarly, damage or repairs resulting from alterations for outdoor use, or the use of harsh chemicals or cleaning products applied improperly, are not eligible for warranty coverage.
