For every single knife, a separate warranty claim or Lifesharp service request form needs to be completed. Each packing slip is intended for an individual knife, even if you have packed all the knives in a single box.
The form contains details such as the location of purchase, model number, concern, a box for the description of your problem, and a few options to choose from. You should prefer PNG, JPG, or JPEG formats when uploading the photo.
If you've bought a product directly from Benchmade and it remains in its original condition, you have the option to return it within 60 days of purchase for either a replacement or a refund.
Whether you have no knowledge of the customer PO number, refer to the confirmation email sent to you, find it on the packing slip, or retrieve it from the account login. Otherwise, get in touch with the Customer Service Center.
Based on the chosen shipping method, you will be sent an email containing a shipping label and instructions for returning your item. The products purchased from other websites other than Benchmade cannot be returned.
They will examine the product to determine refund authorization. Upon approval of the return request, you will receive a confirmation email.
The customer and Lifesharp service support can be contacted through phone or chat. They are available on weekdays at fixed timings only. You can expect a response from them within three to five days in the event you contact them over the phone.
During the warranty process, Benchmade Knife may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the lifetime limited warranty period.
If you have trouble contacting Benchmade Knife, submit a claim with Warranty Valet® or chat with our agent for hassle-free claim assistance!
Benchmade provides a warranty for all genuine Benchmade knives. Within the warranty period, options for replacement include handle or blade replacement, repair, clip replacement, and replacement of internal parts.
Lifetime limited warranty
Any physical damage to the knife is not covered under the warranty. Any products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, or acts of nature are also not included in the warranty coverage.
Benchmade had its origins in California in 1979 as Bali-Song, later changing its name to Pacific Cutlery Corporation in the early 1980s, before finally adopting the name "Benchmade" in 1988. The company relocated to Clackamas, Oregon in 1990. Initially recognized for manufacturing butterfly knives, or balisongs, Benchmade expanded its product range. It gained substantial revenue by supplying restricted sales knives to the military and law enforcement. While maintaining a core focus on balisongs, Benchmade now offers an extensive selection of "auto" or switchblade knives, as well as a variety of hunting, fishing, utility, and miscellaneous knives.
