Step 2:

  • Under the warranty period, defective products should be returned to AOPEN or an AOPEN-nominated repair center, with the cost borne by the customers, including any insurance, if available.

  • AOPEN will request that you submit a copy of the original purchase receipt for evaluation purposes. If they confirm that the products have material defects, you will receive either rectification of the defects or equivalent products.

Step 3:

  • The warranty service of AOPEN will not be available to you if the serial number does not match the provided warranty documents. The purchase date serves as the starting date of the warranty period.

  • The duration of the warranty period may differ depending on your country or region. AOPEN recommends verifying this information with your local representatives.

What is covered under the AOPEN Warranty?

AOPEN ensures that this product will be free from material and workmanship defects during the warranty period. The warranty for AOPEN branded products begins from the date of purchase and is applicable only in the country of purchase.

What is NOT covered under the AOPEN Warranty?

The warranty does not extend to damage resulting from improper use, including but not limited to liquid ingress, external impact, drops, incorrect installation, overloading, unauthorized modifications, or improper testing. It also excludes damage from environmental factors such as inappropriate temperature or moisture levels, power surges, or operational procedures leading to software damage or computer viruses. Instances of forgotten or lost security passwords rendering the system inoperable, damage from improper software installation, or evidence of tampering, repair, or modification by unauthorized individuals as determined by AOPEN, are also not covered. Additionally, damage from inadequate packing or transportation, alteration of serial numbers or product information, broken or tampered warranty seals, non-compliance of product information, or expiration of the warranty period are excluded. Damage resulting from improper third-party components, natural disasters such as lightning strikes, floods, earthquakes, or other improper operations is also not covered. Consumables, accessories, and the operating system are not included in the warranty coverage.
