What is covered under the American Tourister Warranty?

The warranty becomes applicable if a problem arises with this American Tourister product due to manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. In such cases, American Tourister, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the product in accordance with the specified terms and conditions of the warranty. It is important to note that this warranty is valid only for the initial purchaser or gift recipient of the product. While non-warranty maintenance or repairs can be undertaken by any company, American Tourister stipulates the use of an approved American Tourister service center for warranty-related repairs. The warranty has a global scope, allowing you to have your product repaired at any service center worldwide. However, you are responsible for covering all associated costs, including packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes, to get the product to any such service center. In cases where the warranty applies, you will be informed whether the product will undergo repair or replacement. Any repair or replacement will be covered by American Tourister, including the expenses incurred in returning the repaired or replaced product to you. If the product is to be replaced and the original model is unavailable, American Tourister will substitute it with a comparable product from their line.

What is NOT covered under the American Tourister Warranty?

The warranty explicitly excludes coverage for damages resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transport-related incidents. It does not cover incidental and consequential damages. Labor charges and damages arising from work performed by individuals other than a Service Center are not included in this warranty.
