What is covered under the American Standard Warranty?

What is NOT covered under the American Standard Warranty?

Any damage caused by inadequate maintenance or cleaning as specified in the owner's manual, any damage that occurs during shipment, any personal or real property damage caused by use of the Product, any damage caused by improper or negligent installation, or any damage caused by the use of American Standard Parts that are not genuine. Any damage caused by factors that are beyond the control of American Standard, such as the installation, maintenance, or normal wear and tear, or any failure of the Product or Parts due to external forces, such as vandalism, vehicular, or other impact. It is recommended that purchasers consult with local building or plumbing contractors to ensure that local code compliance is met prior to installation.
