3 Simple Steps for Airtemp Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • Two registration steps are to be followed for all products other than oil furnaces because they have a distinct form and there are separate warranty departments.

  • Four steps ought to be completed to register the products. Those four steps are information about the product and installer, and owner of the equipment. You cannot proceed further without completing the first step.

Step 2:

  • To access these extended warranties, you must register the product within either 60 days of installation or 60 days from the date of occupancy in a newly constructed residential property.

  • Once you've successfully registered your product, they'll elevate your heat exchanger warranty from 20 years to a Lifetime Limited Warranty. It's important to note that product registration is a crucial requirement.

Step 3:

  • Like two registration forms, two different phone numbers for products and oil furnaces have been provided. You should use the appropriate phone number based on whether you have questions or issues related to products in general or specifically oil furnaces.

  • Other than the phone option, customer support can be contacted through the form provided below for your convenience.

  • During the warranty process, Airtemp may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Airtemp Warranty?

The warranty can be claimed if any component experiences a failure due to a defect in material or workmanship within the warranty period. In such cases, a replacement part will be supplied at no cost, except for the owner's responsibility for freight costs. Labor and refrigerant changes are the owner's responsibility as well. Replacement parts are covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty period. The commencement of the warranty period depends on the later of either the date of the initial installation or when the residence is first occupied, provided it is properly documented. If not properly documented, the warranty period begins from the date of shipment from the manufacturer, plus an additional sixty days.

  • 1-year replacement pledge limited warranty on furnaces, air conditioning, and heat pumps

  • 10-year all-parts limited warranty

What is NOT covered under the Airtemp Warranty?

The warranty does not extend to parts that fail directly due to environmental factors. This limited warranty specifically excludes coverage for failures resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or any adjustments made to appliance controls necessary for adapting the appliance's operation to factors like structure size, geographic location, or fuel supply. Adjustments to the heat anticipator on the thermostat are also not guaranteed by Airtemp, which means variations in temperature between the interior and exterior of the structure are not covered. Additionally, this limited warranty does not include regular maintenance tasks such as filter replacement, changing fuses, and the like. Warranty coverage does not apply to failures and replacements caused by contamination from bacteria. Furthermore, any consequential damages or other damage resulting from rust, brownouts, blackouts, oxidation, corrosion, water issues, water conditions, freezing, fires, unusual environmental conditions, or other natural events are not covered. Premature failures stemming from the use of subpar building materials, such as drywall with high sulfur content, or corrosive conditions due to location, moisture, and similar factors, are also excluded from warranty coverage. Equipment purchased over the Internet from sources other than the manufacturer is not included. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for standard maintenance or servicing nor for problems arising from incorrect installation, application, or operation of the equipment. Failures related to equipment or compressors caused by the use of refrigerants outside the manufacturer's recommendations, or failures due to the improper use of metering devices like thermal expansion valves, are also excluded from warranty coverage. The products used for commercial purposes will lose the eligibility to claim the warranty.
