  • For YORK residential products, it is important to register your warranty online within 90 days to ensure you receive the full coverage. Otherwise, the warranties may revert to shorter durations.

  • Their warranties are backed by leading factories, ensuring that any necessary repairs are carried out by the company that designed your systems, not by third parties.

Step 3:

  • Throughout the entire process, from purchase to servicing, a dedicated team of customer service experts will provide guidance and support in the selection, servicing, and maintenance of your YORK home comfort system.

  • Whenever you encounter difficulties with the products, such as equipment issues, seek product information, or simply have questions about your warranty, the team is ready to assist you.

What is covered under the York Warranty?

They provide replacement parts should any component of the product fail to function within the parameters of normal use and service, in strict accordance with the terms delineated in the warranty. Furthermore, with the YORKCare Protection Plan, you can relish in the assurance of comprehensive system protection for an impressive duration of up to ten years, all without any deductibles or constraints on repair services. In the event of a heat exchanger failure within the first five years of installation for LX models or within ten years for premium models, they offer the choice of a furnace replacement as an alternative to replacing the heat exchanger. The lifetime compressor and heat exchanger warranties are limited in nature. Additionally, the Complete Assurance Limited Warranty and the 10-year Parts Limited Warranty necessitate online registration within 90 days of installation. Failure to register within this timeframe will result in the warranties reverting to the standard 5- or 10-year compressor warranties, a 20-year heat exchanger warranty, and a 5-year parts limited warranty.

  • 5-year Limited Warranty for Thermostats and Controls

  • 10-year Limited Warranty for Compressors and Electric Heat Exchangers

  • 10-year Parts Limited Warranty for Air Handlers and Indoor Coils, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps and Furnaces

What is NOT covered under the York Warranty?

Repair or replacement of elements like ductwork, casings, cabinets, structural supports, tower fill/slats/basin, hydronic and pneumatic piping, vessels, gaskets, and piping that do not typically undergo scheduled maintenance. This also includes the removal of oil from pneumatic piping. Disinfection of chiller condenser water systems and other components to address biohazards, including but not limited to Legionella, is not covered unless explicitly outlined in the service scope. In such instances, the customer bears sole responsibility for arranging these services through a provider other than JCI. Any unauthorized activities related to the Covered Equipment, such as abuse, misuse, alterations, adjustments, attachments, combinations, modifications, or repairs not approved in writing by JCI.
