3 Simple Steps for Western Digital Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • Ahead of obtaining warranty service, you are guided to check the troubleshooting procedures which are provided by Western Digital or reseller. The call center provides you with a Return Materials Authorization and ship-to-address for warranty service.

  • The replacement for the defective products is a solution given by the manufacturer. Western Digital guarantees that the replacement product is covered either for the remaining duration of the original product warranty or for 90 days, whichever is longer.

Step 2:

  • The time period to return the product is thirty days and its beginning date is the date of the shipment. After the submission of the return, a pre-paid shipping will be generated by Western Digital.

  • The return package must have a packing slip, with all accessories and manuals. Please use the original or equivalent packaging for return and keep the products in new condition.

Step 3:

  • The return number will have no value after the eleventh day from the issuance date of the return number. The package of the return will be sent back to you.

  • The warranty for your Western Digital product depends on the product model. You can find the specific warranty information for your product on the product detail webpage.

  • During the warranty process, Western Digital may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.
