Log into the Verkada Command platform and generate a support token if requested, which allows technical specialists to securely access your device diagnostics for a preliminary remote evaluation.
Describe the specific errors or hardware malfunctions in detail to the support team, enabling them to provide a suitable workaround or determine if the unit requires a physical replacement.
Verify that the hardware has been installed correctly and is receiving adequate power and network connectivity, ruling out environmental factors or third-party infrastructure issues as the cause of the failure.
Open a formal support case through the live chat, email, or phone channels found within the "Contact Us" section of your Command dashboard to initiate the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.
Provide your organization's contact details and the specific shipping address for the replacement unit, as Verkada will, at its sole discretion, replace non-conforming hardware with a new or refurbished product of similar function.
Coordinate the return of the defective unit as instructed by the technical team; once replaced, the new hardware will be covered for the remainder of the original agreement window or a designated delivery period.
