Step 1:

  • Contacting the customer support team is the initial step and the easiest way to claim the warranty for Uniden products or enquire about anything else.

  • A form is provided with minor details to be completed, which includes name, email, contact number, and a large message box after you select the right topic at the top.

Step 2:

  • If the product is discovered to be non-compliant with the warranty as outlined, the company will, at its discretion, either repair the defect or replace the Product at no cost for parts or service.

  • You will expect a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably predictable loss or damage. Repairs or replacements for the products are below the acceptable quality and involve minor failures.

Step 3:

  • Their highly-trained customer support team possesses the expertise and resources necessary to promptly and efficiently address your inquiries.

  • You must return the products to the Service Agent with the original purchase that acts as evidence and detailed explanation of the problem.

What is covered under the Uniden Warranty?

The warranty is applicable to the initial retail buyer and remains valid starting from the original sale date in the country of initial purchase, specifically for a product initially bought in either Australia or New Zealand. Once the designated and relevant warranty period has expired, it will no longer be in effect. The warranty encompasses the product along with its accessories.

What is NOT covered under the Uniden Warranty?

The warranty coverage for the product will be void under several conditions. This includes instances where the product is damaged or not maintained in a reasonable manner, deviating from the recommendations outlined in the relevant Uniden Owner's Manual. Additionally, if the product is modified, altered, or incorporated into any conversion kits, subassemblies, or configurations not authorized by Uniden Aust or Uniden NZ, the warranty will not apply. Improper installation contrary to the instructions in the respective Owner's Manual, repairs conducted by an unauthorized Uniden Repair Agent for defects or malfunctions covered by the warranty, or usage in conjunction with equipment, parts, or a system not manufactured by Uniden also result in the warranty being invalid. The warranty does not extend to any asserted loss of or damage to user-generated data that might be stored on your product. The warranty does not encompass any compensation or payment for consequential damages alleged to result from a product's failure to meet the warranty terms.
