Before beginning, confirm that your networking gear's issue is a result of a manufacturing flaw in materials or workmanship. The warranty specifically excludes damage caused by natural disasters (lightning, flood, earthquakes), power surges, improper power supply, or errors in cabling. Furthermore, any product that has been physically modified, painted, rebranded, or has had its original Ubiquiti MAC label removed is ineligible for coverage.
Ensure you have your Proof of Purchase (invoice or order confirmation) and the MAC Address of the specific device ready. Note that Ubiquiti only honors warranties for products purchased from authorized distributors, resellers, or official Ubiquiti Webstores. Items bought from unauthorized dealers carry no warranty and may be counterfeit or used.
Be aware that the warranty does not cover software applications, non-Ubiquiti peripherals, or costs associated with the removal and reinstallation of equipment, including labor costs.
To initiate the process, you must access the specialized Ubiquiti RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) portal to open a digital intake ticket. No products will be accepted for replacement without an officially issued RMA number.
You must provide your contact and shipping information, date of purchase, a clear problem description, the MAC address, and a list of troubleshooting actions taken so far. Ubiquiti may request a copy of the actual invoice as final proof of purchase.
Note that by submitting an RMA request, you confirm your acceptance of all terms, including the binding arbitration provision. If the information provided is found to be false or does not match the received product, the item will not be replaced and may be subject to disposal.
If the digital RMA is approved, you must ship the product to Ubiquiti's facility freight prepaid (you pay the shipping costs) within 90 days of the RMA issuance. Ensure the RMA number is clearly marked on the package, as products received without one or without valid proof of purchase will be subject to disposal.
While submitting your claim, you are highly encouraged to complete your Product Registration by adopting your devices into your UI account. Please be aware that replacement products may be returned to you in their original factory configuration; you are responsible for all data backup, recovery, and reinstallation of software.
Once the support team verifies the hardware defect, Ubiquiti will, at its discretion, replace the product with a new or refurbished version. The replacement unit does not extend the original warranty term, but it ensures your network is restored to its functional specifications as quickly as possible.
UI Webstore Purchases: 2 Years from the date of delivery.
Authorized Distributor/Reseller: 1 Year from the date of shipment to the distributor.
