Tenda does not utilize a centralized online registration portal; your warranty is validated by your Original Proof of Purchase. Ensure you have a clear copy of your invoice or receipt from an authorized retailer to confirm your eligibility.
Find the S/N and MAC address on the product label, usually located on the bottom or back of the device. This identifier is mandatory for technical support to verify the hardware version and production date.
Warranty service is typically provided by the authorized distributor or retailer in the country where the product was purchased. If you purchased via a local tech shop, they will be your primary contact for the exchange process.
Before filing a claim, use a pin to hold the "Reset" button for 10 seconds while the device is powered on. Many connectivity issues are software-based and can be resolved without a hardware replacement.
Access the Tenda management page (usually 192.168.0.1) or the Tenda WiFi App to ensure your device is running the latest firmware, as updates often fix known performance bugs.
If the device remains non-functional, note the behavior of the LED indicator lights (e.g., solid red, flashing, or no light). This information helps the technical team determine if the issue is a power supply failure or a motherboard defect.
Reach out to the team through Contact Us directly by emailing support@tenda.com.cn or calling your regional Tenda hotline with your model number and S/N.
Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): If the support team determines the hardware is defective, they will provide an RMA number and instructions for the return process.
Ship the Defective Unit: Send the device, along with the RMA number and a copy of your receipt, to the designated service center. Tenda will typically repair the unit or replace it with a functionally equivalent model to restore your network.
