Step 1:

  • The products that are defective during the warranty period must be sent to Taylor's office to claim the warranty if an authorized TAYLOR dealer or authorized TAYLOR warranty repair center does not confirm in writing that they will handle the repair or service.

  • A few documents need to be produced which are proof of purchase, an explanation of the nature of the asserted defect and photographic or other documentary evidence, and the name, address, and phone number of the original purchaser.

Step 2:

  • In the event, that you have the return authorization number, the return can be made within thirty days from the date of the delivery of the order. Taylor Guitars needs you to pick up any one of the three choices for the returned products: replacement, exchange, or refund.

  • Products returned without any signs of wear and tear, or usage, and sent back to the manufacturer in the original packaging will not be rejected. Taylor has listed a couple of products that should never be returned.

Step 3:

  • The shipping charges will be paid by the seller for the products that have been delivered to you in damaged condition. Restocking fees are applicable for products not returned in perfect condition.

  • The processing time for refunds ranges from 2-4 business days from the date the returned products are received at the warehouse. You will receive confirmation via email at the address associated with the original order.

What is covered under the Taylor Guitars Warranty?

TAYLOR guarantees to the initial buyer of this TAYLOR musical instrument that the purchased instrument will be devoid of defects in materials and craftsmanship under regular use for the entire duration of ownership by the original purchaser, extending until the instrument's ownership is transferred to another party.

What is NOT covered under the Taylor Guitars Warranty?

The limited warranty excludes normal wear and tear, damages resulting from modification, misuse, neglect, abuse, accidents, natural disasters, or improper maintenance of the instrument or its components. It also does not cover defects claimed by purchasers who did not buy the instrument from an authorized TAYLOR dealer in the United States of America or Canada, guitars owned by individuals residing outside the U.S. or Canada, electrical components not manufactured by TAYLOR, setups, adjustments, or routine maintenance. Furthermore, it does not cover instruments with missing, altered, or tampered serial numbers, defects, or damage to instruments that have been worked on or modified by technicians or repair persons other than TAYLOR-certified technicians at authorized TAYLOR service centers.
