  • Secure your original purchase receipt, as coverage is non-transferable and strictly handled by the region or country of residence where the helmet was originally purchased.

  • Verify that the helmet has not undergone any modifications, such as the installation of third-party audio systems, drilling of the shell, or carving of the EPS liner, to ensure the factory agreement remains valid.

Step 2:

  • Perform a thorough inspection to determine if the issue is a material defect rather than normal wear and tear, such as paint chips from road contact or the natural fading of fabrics under UV exposure.

  • Ensure the helmet has been stored in a climate-controlled environment, as the manufacturer does not cover damage resulting from improper storage conditions, including exposure to extreme heat, rain, or high humidity.

  • Identify any secondary components that may be failing, such as shields or comfort liners, as these accessories are assessed under their own specific material standards.

Step 3:

  • Initiate the claim process by contacting the specific retailer where you purchased the helmet; for users in the U.S., you may also submit a request through the official website to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  • Prepare the helmet for inspection by removing all non-original accessories, as the service center is not responsible for any lost or damaged third-party items included with the return.

  • Coordinate with the technical team for the resolution; at the discretion of the brand, the original item will be repaired or replaced with the same or a comparable model to restore your head protection to factory standards.

Scorpion Warranty Period:

  • Scorpion EXO helmets are warranted against material and manufacturing defects for 5 years from original purchase date or 7 years from manufacturing date, and helmet accessories, including all shields and comfort liners (such as cheek pads and crown liners), are warranted against material and manufacturing defects for 1 year from the original purchase date whichever comes first.

  • Cross-Border Purchases: Helmets bought in one country and used/warranted in another are not covered due to differing regulatory and certification standards.
