What is covered under the Pentair Warranty?

Pentair products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of sixty days from the original date of purchase or installation. To get an extended warranty( longer than 60 days from the original date of installation) you will be eligible to provide the necessary details as mentioned above. But a trade-grade warranty has the following warranty policy: products of the trade grade must be bought from a wholesale store( Brick and Mortar), or from a pool builder or pool service company. If the products were purchased online, then the products have a sixty-day limited warranty. The products will have a one-year parts-only warranty from the purchase date if the products were bought from an Authorized Pentair Online Reseller (products starting with EC-). This scheme has few exceptions for products like IntelliChlor cells and IntelliFlo SVRS pumps (Two-year parts-only Warranty).

  • 60-Days Warranty for the majority of the Pentair products

  • 1-year Warranty for IntelliConnect™, IntelliCenter®, IntelliLevel™, IntelliSync™ Automations

  • 2 Year Warranty for Heaters

  • 3-Year Warranty for the SunTouch® Solar and SolarTouch® Control Systems

What is NOT covered under the Pentair Warranty?

The warranty does not apply to damages resulting from various factors, including careless handling, improper repackaging, or shipping. It also excludes damages due to misapplication, misuse, abuse, or failure to operate equipment as outlined in the owner's manual. Additionally, the warranty policy will not cover damages resulting from improper installation as specified in the owner's manual or unauthorized modifications to the product that do not involve Pentair's original replacement parts. Damages caused by a failure to maintain water chemistry in accordance with industry standards for any duration are also not covered. Furthermore, damages resulting from water freezing, accidental damage, fire, acts of nature, or other circumstances beyond Pentair's control fall outside the scope of the warranty.
