3 Simple Steps for peakdesign Warranty Claim

Step 1:

• The Peak Design Lifetime Guarantee covers all genuine Peak Design products, including Mobile Cases, SlimLink Mounts, and Mobile Accessories, for the lifetime of the product. The guarantee applies regardless of where or when the product was purchased, provided it is a genuine Peak Design item bought from an authorized source such as Peak Design’s official website, Amazon (Peak Design’s official storefront), Kickstarter, an authorized retail partner, or the PD Marketplace.

• Products purchased from secondhand marketplaces or auction sites not affiliated with Peak Design, such as eBay, Craigslist, or Xianyu (Idlefish), are not covered by the Lifetime Guarantee. However, items purchased through the PD Marketplace remain eligible for the full Lifetime Guarantee, even if bought second-hand.

• Please note that apparel items are excluded from the standard Lifetime Guarantee and are covered only for manufacturing defects. Mobile accessories, including cases, mounts, wallets, and related items, are fully covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.

Step 2:

• All warranty claims must be submitted online through the Peak Design warranty portal on the official Peak Design website. Scroll to the bottom of the warranty page and click the Claim button to begin. The process takes only a few minutes and is typically handled entirely online.

• When submitting your claim, provide a valid proof of purchase from an authorized Peak Design retailer. Orders placed through Peak Design’s official website or Kickstarter can be processed directly. You will also need to upload photos or a short video clearly showing the defect or malfunction to help speed up the review process.

• For customers in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Macau, and Brunei, warranty claims are handled by Peak Design’s regional partner, Findings Group.

Step 3:

• Once your claim is reviewed and approved, Peak Design will repair the item, send replacement parts, or replace it with a fully functioning item in the same or better condition. Replacement items are sourced from Peak Design's stock of open-box, gently used, or refurbished items, all quality-checked, certified clean and fully functioning, and covered by the same Lifetime Guarantee as a brand-new purchase.

• Peak Design may, in certain cases, require the customer to send the defective item back for inspection or verification before a replacement is dispatched. This is at Peak Design's discretion and is used to verify genuine product claims or assess complex failures.

• If a replacement is issued for a discontinued or unavailable model, Peak Design will replace it with the nearest equivalent current model in the same or better condition, at no cost to the customer.
