Step 1:

  • Mizudo offers three options for lodging a warranty claim: phone call, live chat on WhatsApp, or email. Your claim will be reviewed by the customer service team.

  • For a stress-free warranty claim, you need to provide proof of purchase, serial numbers, and photos of the installation and damaged parts.

Step 2:

  • All incoming shipments of products to Mizudo, regardless of type or reason, must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization ("RGA") number to facilitate any necessary repairs.

  • Please reach out to Mizudo to obtain an RGA number before shipping any items to ensure safe handling and processing.

Step 3:

  • There will be a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee for products returned without the original packaging or with missing parts or components.

  • Prior to returning a product for a refund, approval must be obtained from Mizudo's Customer Service team.

What is covered under the Mizudo Heater Warranty?

The Standard Limited Warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship when the product is installed and operated according to Mizudo's written installation instructions, as outlined in this warranty document. This warranty is valid only for products correctly installed in the United States and Canad

What is NOT covered under the Mizudo Heater Warranty?

The following exclusions apply to this Limited Warranty: A repair, replacement, or refund will not be provided unless the product with the defective component is properly installed and maintained according to Mizudo’s Installation Manual and Use & Care Manual, and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, policies, and licensing requirements. Abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect, or misapplication of the product will void this warranty. Additionally, damages due to improper installation, including issues with sizing, length, elevation, condensation drainage, or airflow, will not be covered. Mizudo Systems is not responsible for expenses arising from labor services, such as installation or removal due to a warranty claim. Services performed by third-party providers other than Mizudo Systems that result in damage will also void this warranty. The product is not to be used as a pool or spa heater; such use will be considered misuse and void the warranty. Other exclusions include damages from improper use, such as freezing within the unit or surrounding piping, incorrect sizing, scale buildup, or incorrect gas and/or water pressure. Mizudo will not cover increases in electricity costs for any reason, including additional or unusual use of supplemental electrical heat. The warranty does not cover damages from the use of non-potable, untreated, or poorly treated well water, or water with high pH levels or hardness above 12 grains per gallon (200 mg/L). If the original serial number on the product has been removed or altered, rendering it unidentifiable, the warranty will be void. Mizudo is not responsible for any default or delay in performance caused by factors beyond its control.
