Step 1:

  • Before beginning, confirm that your watch's issue is a result of a manufacturing flaw in materials or workmanship. The warranty specifically covers the movement and the integrity of the Luminox Light Technology (LLT). It specifically excludes the battery, crystal, crown, strap or bracelet, and damage resulting from inappropriate use, accidents, or normal wear and tear to the case.

  • Ensure you have your original dated sales receipt or a stamped warranty certificate from an authorized Luminox retailer ready. The quality guarantee is only valid for the original owner and does not apply to watches purchased from unauthorized "gray market" sellers.

  • Note that water resistance is covered provided the watch has not been subjected to improper handling. If you notice fogging under the crystal that persists for more than a few minutes at room temperature, it may indicate a damaged seal or gasket, which should be inspected immediately by an authorized technician to prevent movement damage.

Step 2:

  • To initiate the process, access the specialized U.S. Authorized Repair & Service Center portal. Luminox uses a streamlined digital system (often managed through the Mondaine group portal) to track repairs from intake to return.

  • You must provide your model number and a detailed description of the service issue, such as "movement accuracy" or "illumination failure." If you purchased your watch directly from the official website, your warranty is often automatically activated, but having your order number ready will speed up the identification process.

  • High-quality photographs of the watch are recommended for assessment. When shipping, you will be prompted to generate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a shipping label. Please ensure you do not send the original gift box, as it cannot be returned; instead, use a secure, padded shipping container to protect the watch during transit.

Step 3:

  • If the claim is approved, the authorized service center will repair the defect free of charge. If the watch cannot be repaired, the company may, at its discretion, provide a comparable replacement model.

  • While submitting your claim, you are highly encouraged to complete your Product Registration on the official website. For watches purchased directly through the Luminox webstore, this registration often unlocks an additional 1-year warranty extension, providing even longer-term peace of mind for your investment.

  • Once the customer support team authorizes the solution, follow the provided shipping instructions carefully. Ensure your RMA number is clearly visible on the package. The service center will keep you updated via the portal as your timepiece moves through the evaluation, Swiss-certified repair, and final quality control stages before being returned to you.
