What is covered under the Liebherr Appliances Warranty?

Liebherr provides a warranty to the original purchaser, referred to as the "Liebherr Customer" or "you," for the Liebherr Product. This warranty is applicable to appliances purchased from an Authorized Liebherr Dealer, such as a distributor, dealer, manufacturer's representative, or another authorized seller. It covers the Liebherr Product and its original accessories, ensuring they are free from material and workmanship defects during the specified warranty coverage period. To qualify for warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase from an Authorized Liebherr Dealer and confirm the purchase date and installation carried out by an Authorized Liebherr Servicer

  • 2-year warranty on parts and labor for residential appliances

  • 5-year warranty on parts and labor for residential appliances for sealed system

  • 6 to 12-year limited warranty on parts only for residential appliances for sealed system

  • 3-year warranty on parts and labor for laboratory, medical products, and food service appliances

  • 5-year sealed system warranty on parts and labor for food service appliances

What is NOT covered under the Liebherr Appliances Warranty?

The Liebherr warranty does not extend to cover any costs or labor required to rectify defects or damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, servicing, conversions, or modifications performed on the Liebherr Product or any of its components and accessories. It also excludes issues stemming from negligence, incorrect installation, improper delivery, regular wear and tear, accidents, misuse, power interruptions, power surges, off-grid installations, relocation and reinstallation of the Liebherr Product without adherence to published installation guidelines, floods, natural disasters, or other force majeure events. Additionally, any improper maintenance or use of the Liebherr Product or its components and accessories contrary to the published user or operator instructions falls outside this warranty's coverage. Furthermore, the Liebherr Warranty does not encompass service expenses or service calls aimed at instructing the Liebherr Customer on the proper use of the Liebherr Product. It also does not cover products situated in inaccessible locations or additional fees related to marine (yacht) applications, such as marina access and extra parking. Additionally, any damage incurred during transportation or freight is not included within the scope of this Liebherr Warranty.
