  • Your email address, anime and date of birth along with a strong password is required to create one.

Step 2:

  • You can easily register your products on their panel directly through your My LG Account. Product details like model number, serial number along with place & date of purchase and price of the product are the details to be provided mandatorily.

  • Initiating the claim begins with requesting a repair to LG. Log in to your My LG Account and request the repair with the details of the product which is already registered on your account. You must also add the details of the problem which will help them sort the issue.

Step 3:

  • LG has various methods for you to communicate their support for all kinds of doubts and concerns. You can easily chat with them using LG Chat, and social media handles and can easily jump into a call with them for the purpose.

  • Emailing can be done through the well-constructed contact form on their website. The product’s model number, category, and your personal details along with the subject and detailed explanation of your issue must be mentioned in the form.

  • They also have dedicated pages for the help library, manual & documents, software & drives, find a service center, and track the repair along with various other necessary options.

  • During the warranty process, LG may offer you one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service. The warranty period is usually 2 years, 3 years, or 5 years.

What is covered under the LG Warranty?

LG’s warranty will always cover all types of material and craftsmanship defects irrespective of its size unless it has been under normal use. They will evaluate the problem with the model and serial numbers, along with original retail sales receipts and make the necessary repair or replacement in the product if it is claimed within the promised warranty period only from the original purchaser. You can always leverage your rights on the claim along with other legal rights which may change from one province or state to the other. Make sure you are claiming the product in the same country of purchase to avoid the rejection of the claim.

What is NOT covered under the LG Warranty?

LG also has limitations on anything they cover in their warranty plan. It does not cover the damages caused due to the failure of the product to perform during power failures and interrupted or inadequate electrical service; resulting from operating the product in a corrosive atmosphere or contrary to the instructions outlined in the product’s owner’s manual; failure caused by incorrect electrical current, voltage, or plumbing codes, commercial or industrial use, or use of accessories, components, or consumable cleaning products that are not approved by LG; transportation and handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other damage to the within one (1) week of delivery; original serial numbers that have been removed, altered, or cannot be readily determined; resulting from misuse, improper care, improper installation, repair, or maintenance.
