Step 1:

  • To initiate the warranty claim process, you have the option of returning the defective product to the original point or the authorized dealer or distributor from where you purchased the products. For this, you need to obtain an RMA number from the dealers.

  • RMA number is valid only for 30 days. You need to return the products within that time frame. Make sure you have provided all essentials and comprehensive product identification details, including model number, serial number (find it on the product label), and other details.

Step 2:

  • RMA numbers can be obtained at their official site or by calling their support at +1-714-438-1810 or +1-800-337-3719. For ValueRAM memory products, please contact their technical support team.

  • Along with the product details, a detailed description of the problem you are encountering with the product is required. Additionally, proof of purchase including the invoice, purchase date, and other details is required.

  • Note that you are accountable for covering the expenses related to insuring and shipping the products you wish to return. Any products—returned or replaced—will automatically become the property of Kingston.

  • Upon validation of your products, the repaired and replaced product will be shipped to you at Kingston’s expense.

Step 3:

  • It is worth noting that the scope of this warranty is contingent on the products being imported or sold through authorized Kingston dealers or distributors. Those products that fall outside this category may not be covered by the warranty.

  • In such cases, the firm emphasizes direct communication with authorized dealers to inquire about the available warranty.

  • Additionally, keep in mind that the return policy is region-specific. So Kingston advises you to read the return policy thoroughly before you proceed with the claiming process. This ensures an informed experience.

  • During the warranty process, Kingston may offer you one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service. The warranty period is usually 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years.

  • 1-Year Warranty – Wi-Drive, TravelLite, SD/MMC Reader
