Step 1:

  • Confirm that your product was purchased from an authorized iView seller and that you are the original purchaser. This warranty is valid only for products purchased and used within the Continental United States.

  • Verify that your product is within the applicable warranty period by checking your sales receipt. Standard and refurbished products carry different coverage periods, so always refer to the warranty documentation included with your product.

  • Make sure the issue is a genuine defect in materials or workmanship under normal use. Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or power surges is not covered under the warranty.

Step 2:

  • Keep your original sales receipt or proof of purchase in a safe place. It must clearly show the date of purchase and the seller's name, as it is required to file any warranty claim.

  • Note down your product’s serial number and keep your personal contact details handy. These are required when contacting iView customer support to initiate a claim. Please note that PO Box addresses are not accepted.

  • Back up all data and software on your device before sending it in for service. iView is not responsible for any loss of data, programs, or information that may occur during the repair process.

Step 3:

  • Contact iView customer support by phone or email to obtain your RMA number and shipping instructions. Do not send your product without first obtaining an RMA number, as claims cannot be processed without it.

  • Pack your product securely along with the charger/adapter, proof of purchase, serial number, and a description of the problem, and include a money order for $35 ($15 for converter boxes) to cover return shipping. iView strongly recommends insuring the package, as they are not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit.

  • iView will repair or replace the defective product at its discretion. Return shipping within the Continental US is covered by iView within 90 days of purchase; after that period, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

iView Warranty Period:

  • Standard Products: 90 days parts and labor + 1 year parts only from date of original purchase

  • Refurbished Products: 3 months from date of original purchase

  • Picasso Cartridge: Excluded from warranty

  • Return Shipping Covered by iView: Within 90 days of original purchase (Continental US only)

  • Warranty valid for original purchaser only within the Continental United States

What is covered under the iView Warranty?

iView warrants all products to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 90 days (parts and labor) and 1 year (parts only) from the date of original purchase. Refurbished products carry a 3-month limited warranty. If a defect is confirmed, iView will repair or replace the product at no charge. This warranty is valid only for products purchased from authorized sellers and used within the Continental United States.

What is NOT covered under the iView Warranty?

Cosmetic damage; damage from shipping, improper installation, misuse, neglect, power surges, excessive heat or cold.

  • Products repaired, modified, or altered without prior written consent from iView — unauthorized repairs void the warranty for the affected parts and any related components.
  • Loss of data, programs, or software stored on the device — always back up your content before sending the product in, as iView is not liable for any data lost or altered during repair.
