Step 1:

  • In order to receive warranty service, customers will be requested to present their receipt or proof of purchase.

  • If the product was purchased in the United States from Best Buy using a credit card or check, or if the product was received as a gift, Best Buy will retain a copy of the purchase receipt.

  • Customers who purchased the product in any other manner or received the product as a gift should ensure that the purchase or gift receipt is kept safe.

  • Insignia does not require customers to register their product but for the convenience of the customers it can be registered which comes handy in Insignia warranty claim.

Step 2:

  • If you have purchased Insignia products as new from an authorized retailer (i.e., Best Buy, BestBuy.com, BestBuy.ca, BestBuy.mx, Future Shop, Cowboom.com ) they come with one of the standard warranties.

  • To determine which warranty applies to your Insignia, please use the site search to locate your specific model. Alternatively, you can visit the Product Detail page to review the warranty specifically for your product.

  • If you have purchased the Insignia product outside the United States and Canada or from a retailer other than those listed above, please contact the organization you purchased it for warranty information.

Step 3:

  • An Insignia customer contact form is available where you can get in touch with Insignia’s support team to make an Insignia warranty claim. In the contact form, you’ll need to provide your product category, model number (optional), name, email address, phone number, and a description of the problem you’re facing.

  • Once you’ve filled out the contact form, the Insignia support team will get back to you within 1 to 2 business days.

  • During the warranty process, Insignia may offer you one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service. The warranty period is usually one year for all products.
