If the product was purchased in the United States from Best Buy using a credit card or check, or if the product was received as a gift, Best Buy will retain a copy of the purchase receipt.
Customers who purchased the product in any other manner or received the product as a gift should ensure that the purchase or gift receipt is kept safe.
In order to receive warranty service, customers will be requested to present their receipt or proof of purchase.
Insignia does not require customers to register their product but for the convenience of the customers it can be registered which comes handy in warranty claims.
If you have purchased Insignia products as new from an authorized retailer (i.e., Best Buy, BestBuy.com, BestBuy.ca, BestBuy.mx, Future Shop, Cowboom.com ) they come with one of the standard warranties.

If you have purchased the Insignia product outside the United States and Canada or from a retailer other than those listed above, please contact the organization you purchased it for warranty information.
