What is covered under the Honeywell Warranty?

Honeywell covers all of its products with a limited warranty duration according to its usage and specifications. Any form of defect or issue in workmanship under normal use and service from the date of purchase in the defined period by the first end-user will be covered by the claim. Honeywell will repair or replace the product in the preferred manner. It also covers the products offered by Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions. It is non-transferable and can be extended only to the first end user of the product.
If your purifier shuts off and won’t turn back on, fails to spin, or if your thermostat displays a temperature or internal memory error, shows "cool on" but no air is blowing, or isn’t cooling properly, Honeywell will repair or replace the unit under warranty. Additionally, if your air cleaner isn’t powering up, your humidifier isn’t getting water, the drum won’t turn, or your humidifier is overflowing, not draining, or malfunctioning, or if your dehumidifier isn’t collecting water or turning on, Honeywell will cover the necessary repairs or replacement. Even if the fan has stopped working, Honeywell ensures your unit is restored or replaced to full functionality.

  • 1–2 year warranty for retail products depending upon its specifications

  • 3–5 year warranty for professional install products depending upon its specifications

What is NOT covered under the Honeywell Warranty?

Honeywell’s limited warranty will not cover damages due to alteration, normal wear & tear, improper use, modification, misapplication, non-compliance with installation and maintenance guidelines or physical abuse of the product. Repair or service by unauthorized sources makes the product ineligible for the claim. It also excludes all forms of damages caused by circumstances outside of Honeywell’s control, such as lightning, excessive voltage or current from the interface connections.
