3 Simple Steps for Google Pixel Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • If your Pixel smartphone experiences a defect that isn't the result of your actions, you may have the opportunity to initiate a return for repair or replacement. Please note that the warranty does not extend coverage to accidental damage.

  • Terms of the warranty change according to the country or region where you purchased your phone. Online and phone support is available wherever Google Pixel phones are sold.

  • Google's procedures have to be followed to receive warranty service. In addition, your name, contact, proof of purchase, and phone serial number are pivotal. Proof of purchase will help you to answer their questions.

Step 2:

  • The available repair choices can differ based on both your current location and the region where you initially purchased your phone. Please note that certain components may not be serviceable or replaceable if you are outside the region of purchase.

  • For real-time updates on your walk-in repair status, reach out to your chosen repair partner. If you provided the repair partner with the email address associated with your Google Account, your walk-in repair details will also be accessible in your repair history.

  • Cancellation of a repair order is only possible prior to shipping your device. Should you not take any action on your repair order, it will automatically be canceled after 30 days.

Step 3:

  • For additional assistance, it is recommended to contact the Google Pixel support center where you can find topics linked to resources, questions from the support specialist, and more.

  • Google Pixel offers a help center for Pixel phones that provides numerous solutions for the issues you may encounter with your phone.

  • During the warranty process, Google Pixel may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Google Pixel Warranty?

Google offers a warranty for new products, including any additional parts that may come with them. They are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use as per Google's user documentation for one year from the original retail purchase date in their original packaging. If the product is refurbished, the warranty covers it for ninety days from the original retail purchase date. If a defect covered by this Limited Warranty occurs during the warranty period, you can return your product. Google, at its discretion and within the limits of the law, will either repair it using new or refurbished parts, replace it with a new or refurbished product of equivalent functionality, or provide a refund of the purchase price. Repaired or replaced products maintain the warranty for the remaining time of the original period. Any parts returned for replacement become Google's property, and there may be a risk of data loss during repair or replacement. The limited warranty does not diminish or otherwise affect your legal rights concerning your Google product. The limited warranty holds true and can be enforced solely in areas where Google products are available for purchase. It becomes applicable if you acquired your Google product directly from Google or its authorized resellers.

  • 1-year limited warranty

What is NOT covered under the Google Pixel Warranty?

The limited warranty excludes coverage for damage resulting from various factors, including normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations, servicing by individuals other than Google-authorized technicians, and external causes such as water damage, exposure to sharp objects, excessive force, electrical current irregularities, or extreme thermal or environmental conditions. It's important to note that the limited warranty doesn't assure uninterrupted or error-free use of the Google product.
