Before beginning, confirm which coverage applies to your situation. Gadget Guard offers two primary types: the Lifetime Replacement Warranty for the guard itself (cracks, scratches, or bubbles) and the GuardPlus Promise, which provides a reimbursement toward the repair of your mobile device's screen if it breaks while the guard is installed.
Ensure you have your original dated sales receipt or digital order confirmation ready. For GuardPlus claims, the protection is only valid if the product was registered within the required window after purchase and the unique 12-digit PIN is provided.
Note that the warranty specifically excludes damage to the internal components of the phone, back glass, or issues caused by liquid exposure. The guard must have been properly installed on the device at the time the damage occurred.
To initiate the process, access the specialized warranty portal on the official website. If you have not yet created an account, you will need to do so to view your registered products.
You must provide your unique Warranty PIN or proof of registration along with a description of the issue. For GuardPlus claims, do not remove the broken screen protector from the device until instructed, as photographic evidence of the guard on the broken screen is often required for assessment.
High-quality photographs of the damaged guard or the broken device screen are required for claim verification. This helps the support team determine if you are eligible for a replacement guard or if you need to be directed to an authorized repair partner for a screen reimbursement.
If the replacement claim is approved, the company will provide a new screen protector. While the replacement product is provided under the warranty, customers are typically responsible for a shipping and handling fee to receive the new unit.
While submitting your claim, you are highly encouraged to verify that all your current devices are listed in your Product Registration; this ensures that any future cracks or accidents are covered under the same seamless digital process.
Once the team authorizes a solution for a GuardPlus claim, you may be directed to a local repair shop; keep all repair invoices and receipts, as these must be uploaded to the portal to receive your reimbursement check or electronic payment.
Screen Protectors: Limited Lifetime (as long as you own the device).
GuardPlus Insurance: 1 Year from the date of registration.
Cases: 1 Year (Manufacturing Defects).
