Before your first treatment, you must verify your eligibility for factory-backed support. FOREO requires all users to register their device through the FOREO For You app or the official website to activate coverage. This registration confirms you own an original, brand-new product and links it to your customer profile.
You should have your Serial Number (found on the bottom of the device or the authenticity card) and your Dated Proof of Purchase ready. While the app is used for device registration and unlocking, warranty claims must be filed through the official website. Keeping a digital copy of your receipt is a mechanical necessity for validating that the hardware qualifies for a professional assessment.
If your device fails to turn on, won't sync with the app, or has a mechanical failure in the charging port, it is time to perform a visual assessment. The warranty is specifically designed to address manufacturing defects in working parts that affect the function of the device under Normal Use.
It is important to determine if the failure is a factory defect rather than a result of accidental damage or neglect. Check for signs of mechanical failure that align with standard manufacturing errors. Keep in mind that normal wear and tear including cosmetic deterioration, fading of silicone colors over time, or damage caused by attempting to open or take apart the device is handled separately from the core hardware protection.
To resolve a hardware failure, you must coordinate with the specialized technical team through the "Warranty & returns section of your user profile on the FOREO website. Because these devices are medical grade and sealed, the brand requires a digital diagnostic, often including a Video of the Fault, before authorizing a return.
Once your claim is submitted, a representative will contact you within two business days to provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. If a defect is confirmed, FOREO will, at its discretion, replace the device free of charge. Note that shipping costs for returns are non-refundable, but the restored or replaced unit ensures your high-tech skincare routine continues without interruption.
