The express warranty remains in effect for a duration of 5 years from the date of the Product's purchase. Apart from the standard 5-year warranty covering both parts and labor, the remote motors from the Professional series benefit from an additional 5-year part-only warranty, resulting in a total coverage period of 10 years. Should the Product fail to operate or exhibit defects during the Warranty Period under normal operating conditions due to a defect in materials or workmanship, the company will, at their discretion, either replace the entire Product or its components, or repair the Product or its components using new, used, or refurbished replacement parts. This is subject to the exceptions outlined under the heading Conditions.
The express warranty explicitly excludes coverage for damage to the product or defects arising directly or indirectly from various circumstances, including alterations, modifications, or disassembly of the product, usage contrary to its design or instructions, abuse, misuse, negligence, vandalism, corrosion from environmental conditions, fire, accidents, theft, transportation damage (except by PRKS), external sources like blown fuses or faulty installations, natural disasters, acts of God, normal wear and tear, scratching, denting, rusting, spotting, discolouration, or tampering. Imperfections in finishes or natural materials are considered typical characteristics rather than faults. The warranty also does not cover products used in commercial settings, those not installed according to the manufacturer's instructions or applicable standards, those purchased secondhand or from unauthorized sources, maintenance or repairs by unauthorized individuals, use of non-genuine spare parts, cases where the customer cannot provide purchase documentation, incidental, indirect, or consequential loss or damage, and costs related to product removal, reinstallation, specialized technician visits, or incurred due to product unavailability or non-use.
