  • The form to verify the warranty provided by Ecosmart needs you to present the serial number, last name, and postal code of the homeowner.

Step 2:

  • A time period of 30 days from the purchase date is allocated for both the installation of the heater and the registration of the warranty, which should be postmarked unless otherwise approved.

  • The troubleshooting guides are available and can be helpful when diagnosing product problems and searching for optimal solutions.

Step 3:

  • Remember to read EcoSmart's warranty terms and conditions for further information and any extra criteria for filing a claim.

  • It's always advisable to contact their support team and file the issues in your product to claim the warranty at ease.

  • If your warranty claim does not qualify for coverage, EcoSmart will issue a repair or replacement estimate. You will then have the option to choose to repair or replace.

  • 1-year warranty on exchangers and electronics for POU 3.5 and POU 6

  • 2-year warranty on parts for ECO MINI 1, 2.5, 4 or 6

  • Limited lifetime warranty on exchangers and electronics for residential heaters ECO 8 – ECO 36

What is covered under the EcoSmart Warranty?

EcoSmart provides a limited warranty covering both the heat exchanger and all other parts of the tankless water heater. The heat exchanger, serving as the essential component of the water heater, is safeguarded throughout the warranty period. This warranty is applicable to water heaters in the United States of America and Canada, exclusively for the original owner.

What is NOT covered under the EcoSmart Warranty?

The warranty typically excludes damages resulting from overuse, negligence, improper installation, or unauthorized alterations. Additionally, it often does not cover regular wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or incidental or consequential losses.
