Additionally, you must have a Proof of Purchase from an authorized seller dated within the last 12 months for standard digital claims to validate that the equipment qualifies for professional assessment.

  • If you notice a hardware failure, it is time to perform a visual assessment. The warranty is designed to address manufacturing defects, such as structural issues with the fabric, failed stitching, or defective hardware components. To assist in this process, you can consult the official Warranty Coverage PDF, which provides visual examples of covered versus non-covered defects.

  • It is important to determine if the failure is a factory defect rather than a result of misuse, neglect, or accidents. Check for signs of mechanical failure that align with standard manufacturing errors. Keep in mind that normal wear and tear, including abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, transport damage by airlines, or the natural breakdown of colors over extended time, is handled separately from the core hardware protection.

Step 3:

  • To resolve a hardware failure, you must coordinate with the specialized warranty team. Because Eastpak manages high precision textile and luggage repairs, they utilize a specific digital intake process for items purchased more than a month ago to facilitate an efficient technical review.

  • You must compile a comprehensive email including a photo of the Internal White Tags showing the style number, a photo of the Product in its Entirety, and a high resolution shot of the Defective Area. Once your submission is sent, the technical team will perform a formal assessment to determine if the item will be repaired without charge or replaced at their discretion. If authorized for return, you are responsible for pre paid and insured shipping to the facility, while the restored or replaced item will be shipped back to you at no additional cost.
