What is covered under the Cree Lighting Warranty?

Cree Lighting warranty policy not applies to:

  • This limited warranty applies to any Cree Lighting-branded LED lighting fixture that includes a fixed-duration limited warranty.
  • Cree Lighting guarantees its products will be free of material and workmanship defects from the original purchase date by the buyer.

What is NOT covered under the Cree Lighting Warranty?

Cree Lighting warranty policy applies to:

  • This limited warranty does not cover any loss or damage to the product resulting from negligence, abuse, misuse, mishandling, improper installation, storage, or maintenance.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters or acts of God, vandalism, or civil disturbances is excluded.
  • Issues arising from power surges, improper power supply, or electrical current fluctuations are not covered.
  • The warranty excludes damage caused by corrosive environmental conditions, such as excessive saltwater exposure in coastal areas.
  • Damage from induced vibration, harmonic oscillation, or resonance due to air currents around the product is not covered.
  • Alterations, accidents, or failure to follow installation, operation, maintenance, or environmental requirements outlined in the Seller's Spec Sheet or installation instructions void the warranty.
  • Failure to adhere to applicable electrical codes also voids the warranty.
  • Improper servicing of the product by anyone other than the Seller or its authorized service provider renders the warranty void.
  • The warranty becomes void if the product is used for a purpose other than its intended design.
  • Relocating the product from its original installation site to a new installation site voids the warranty.
