This limited warranty is applicable to any Cree Lighting branded LED lighting fixture that includes a fixed-duration limited warranty. Cree Lighting assures that its products will be devoid of material and workmanship defects starting from the original purchase date by the buyer. If the buyer is an authorized distributor of the Seller, they may transfer their rights under this limited warranty to the original end-user purchaser of the Product. However, this transfer is contingent upon the Product being resold by the distributor in new condition and its original packaging, either directly or indirectly through a contractor.
This limited warranty does not cover any loss or damage to the Product resulting from various factors, including negligence, abuse, misuse, mishandling, improper installation, storage, or maintenance. It also excludes damage caused by events such as natural disasters or acts of God, vandalism, civil disturbances, power surges, improper power supply, electrical current fluctuations, corrosive environmental conditions (including excessive saltwater exposure in coastal areas), induced vibration, harmonic oscillation, or resonance due to air currents around the Product. Alterations, accidents, failure to adhere to the installation, operation, maintenance, or environmental requirements outlined in the Seller's relevant Spec Sheet or installation instructions, as well as those in applicable electrical codes, are also not covered. Additionally, any improper servicing of the Product carried out by someone other than the Seller or its authorized service provider renders this limited warranty void. It's important to note that this limited warranty becomes void if the Product is used for a purpose other than its intended design or if the Product is uninstalled from its original installation site and relocated to a new installation site.
