Step 1:

  • Locate your Proof of Purchase (original order confirmation email or digital receipt from an authorized retailer); this is mandatory to verify that you are the original owner and that the device is within its eligible window for protection.

  • Confirm that your device was purchased directly from Clicks or a trusted retailer, as second-hand goods typically do not carry a transferable manufacturer warranty.

  • Inspect the device for the specific type of fault; the policy covers hardware issues like defects in moulding, circuit board failures, or faulty backlighting, but it does not apply to items that have been modified or exposed to excessive moisture.

Step 2:

  • Record a detailed description of the hardware issue. Common covered defects include unresponsive keys, finishing flaws, or connection issues with the pass-through Lightning/USB-C ports.

  • Capture clear digital photos or a short video demonstrating the defect. For backlighting or physical moulding issues, visual evidence will help the technical team expedite your claim.

  • Review the Clicks Promise (30-day trial period) if you have just received the item; if the keyboard isn't the right fit for your workflow, you can return it within this initial window for a refund, provided it is in working order with all original materials.

Step 3:

  • Reach out to the team directly through the official support email address to initiate your formal warranty claim.

  • Provide your original order number and the documentation gathered in Step 2; a support representative will review your case to determine if the defect is covered under the limited hardware warranty.

  • Follow the specific return instructions provided by the agent; if approved, Clicks will typically offer to repair or replace the unit with a new or certified open-box replacement at no cost to you.

Clicks Warranty Period:

  • 1 Year warranty.
