  • You should save a digital copy of your receipt immediately upon purchase from an authorized dealer or the official webstore. This documentation is a necessity for confirming the start date of your hardware protection and ensuring the item was acquired through a legitimate retail channel.

  • Without a valid receipt, the manufacturer may be unable to verify the age or origin of the hardware. Keeping your records organized is the first requirement to qualify for a technical assessment should a manufacturing defect arise during the life of the product.

Step 2:

  • If your gear suffers a failure that appears to be a factory error such as a defect in a helmet’s EPS liner, a stitching issue in your luggage, or a casting flaw in a motorcycle part you must document the issue with high-resolution photography.The goal of this assessment is to identify structural or material anomalies that occurred during the production process. Technical experts will review these images to distinguish between a verified factory flaw and "road-related" stress, such as crash impacts, improper installation, or standard cosmetic wear.

  • For hardware purchased at a local shop, returning to that authorized dealer is often the fastest route for an initial physical inspection. For online orders, your digital evidence package serves as the basis for the manufacturer's remote evaluation.

Step 3:

  • To finalize the process and receive a resolution, you must reach out to the customer service team through the official Biltwell Contact Page or via their dedicated Support email.  Providing a detailed description of the hardware failure along with your attached photos is the required final step.

  • Once the specialized staff receives your digital submission, they will evaluate the evidence to determine if a repair or replacement is warranted. You will receive a follow-up communication confirming the status of your claim and any further instructions for returning the defective item.

  • If the claim is validated, the team will coordinate the necessary solution to ensure your equipment is restored to the high-performance standards the brand is known for. This structured communication ensures that every rider receives professional support for their safety and custom hardware.

  • Normal Wear: Coverage is void for natural fading of paint, scratches on helmet shields, or the gradual wear of soft goods over time.
  • Improper Installation: Warranty is void if hardware failures are the result of incorrect mounting, over-torquing, or improper maintenance.
  • Unauthorized Modification: Protection does not apply to gear that has been custom-painted, drilled, or modified beyond its original factory specifications.
  • Environmental Exposure: Damage resulting from exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme heat, or prolonged UV radiation is excluded.
  • Transferred Ownership: The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
