Step 1:

  • Visit the official website to register your bicycle within 90 days of purchase to upgrade the structural frame warranty to a lifetime guarantee.

  • Secure your dated proof of original retail purchase, as this document is mandatory for both original and subsequent owners to validate the start of the coverage period.

  • Confirm that the product was purchased new from an Authorized Aventon Retailer or directly from the official storefront to ensure eligibility for factory support.

Step 2:

  • Take clear photos or videos of the suspected defect, as visual documentation is required for the retailer or the customer experience team to inspect the issue.

  • Differentiate between manufacturing defects and wear and tear items like brake pads, chains, spokes, and grips, which are naturally excluded from the warranty.

  • Review the user manual to confirm the bike has been maintained according to the published guidelines, as neglect or improper repair will void the structural coverage.

Step 3:

  • Submit the official Warranty Form online if you purchased your bike directly, or visit your original Authorized Aventon Retailer for an in person inspection.

  • Coordinate with the support team to return the defective part; Aventon may repair the item or replace it with the most similar current product available.

  • Confirm that your claim is initiated within one year of the original purchase date to take advantage of the provision for no cost warranty labor.

Aventon Warranty Period:

  • Standard e-Bike Warranty: 2-year limited warranty

  • Battery: 2 years or ~300 charge cycles (whichever comes first)

  • Frame & Components: Typically covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects
